Because that is one of the two plays in the second half play book, the other being run hester up the middle for no gain.

Today is the first day in many years that I am just sick and shocked about the way an LSU football is playing and had to turn it off to save my heart/blood pressure. They had a golden opportunity to get back in the race with Arkansas winning. Now, LSU would be lucky to go back to the Peach.

Today's stupid mistakes, poor coaching and lack of heart are unacceptable. Another game like this, and I will believe those who said Miles is no better than Dinardo.

Man, if only Russell hadn't fumbled that snap. I think that is the play that killed us. It's been downhill since.

That's usually a reflection on the coaching staff. It's their responsibility to see that a team is ready to play on gameday.

I agree that play changed the game.

I think now would be a good time to bring in Perrilloux. Why not? He's our future...honestly.

Actually, LSU wouldn't have a golden opportunity to get back in the race b/c Arkansas is 3-0 and Auburn still has a tie breaker over LSU. But with a loss its basically sealed and if I recall correctly, Arkansas has a managable schedule

LSU has definitely spoiled us with the ability to play come-from-behind ball the last several years. This is really does seem to be a team that buckles under pressure. Fortunately, we have the talent to keep it respectable.
