Welcome mate! Brad was also a star at a high school here in Baton Rouge, Parkview Baptist, which is a state power in football. Brad is outstanding and will play in the NFL one day. But I would love for him to get a NC ring and so do all of the Tiger fans.:tigereye:

I wasn't serious about the cult status but still unsure how a boomerang (yes I know what it is) fits into football.

Hey thanks all for your greetin!

Kajun, thanks to the miracle of youtube, I was able to see some of his kicks with Parkview Baptist. He was just about the tallest guy on the field!Their's more Brad Wings around here if you need em!

    Ahhh, now the Boomerang.
A great "Mo vs Brad WIng" clip, shows the kick in action.

    I'll try and explain anyway.

The ball is held horizontal, at roughly a 45 degree angle.
The ball is kicked on its horizontal, roughly halfway from the tip of the ball to the centre.
The ball will then spin much like a helicopter rotor. The ball can deviate in a very wide arc if executed properly, especially in the wind. I've seen some deviate as much as ten fifteen yards with no wind. Difficult to catch in motion and hard to pick if never seen before! Wing could do this no probs.
The kick is also known in Australia as , Banana, Checkside, Helicopter and some other names I've forgotten.

But now, it's all about the LSU team for me!
I hope he doesn't have to punt!

OK, I'm happy to do some homework.
I'll link this video, for kids in Australia, that explains it.

Welcome to the board! It's very refreshing and exciting to see new LSU fans come up from across the world. I especially love that you're developing a loathing for Bama fans  LSU typically is one of the most exciting and dramatic teams in the country. As you know, most of this comes from our coach whom we all are glad he is our head coach. He is a great man. Now all you have to do is come to America and experience an LSU game and the tailgating and all that good stuff.

I have a feeling Brad's success and resulting publicity will have a few scouts down under seeing who they can turn into the next star.

Every Australian is born to tailgate, few get there, but one day I will fulfill my destiny!
