IMO, you are one of the better posters because you actually talk LSU football. Some here are clearly trying out for comedy clubs and I wish there was a place to do that other than threads about LSU football. Something is me big time. I'm not posting long paragraphs. What is the size of most peoples' monitors here? I have like a 23" monitor and my paragraphs seem short. For examples, the longest paragraph of each of my posts in Danielle Hunter and the Fall practice threads...2 lines, 1 line, 3 lines, 2 lines, 3 lines, 2 lines. On the Fall Practice one, 4 lines, 2 lines, 2 lines, 4 lines and the 4 lines ones are basically the entire post. That paragraph above took less that 3 lines. Maybe it is the monitor size, display size of the screen area being used, text size being used, etc but my paragaphs are not long by any standards IMO....to be fair, the other posters' aren't either. For an example of how much/little I capitalize entire words, look at #23 just above this post in reply to stevescookin. Out of what 100 words maybe I had 2 that shouldn't have been all caps (BOLD and NOT). LSU, RS, NFL, WR, 2012, 2013 I think we all agree should be all caps. Anyway, keep up the good work on posts. I see about 20 to 30 really good regular posters here and will be filtering out the rest.
I'm intrigued by the website at the bottom of the picture but too damn scared to type it into my browser!! lol
anyway, back to the discussion of LSU fall football practice... here are some interesting comments from WAFB's Jacques Doucet: Some quick observations from this morning's first LSU team practice ... Media interest in this program has never been higher. I counted 35-40 media members herded like cattle outside the gates before the start of practice. I've been told ESPN is shooting a segment called "Inside The Program" Sunday, which will air on the network Monday. ... There is a new vibe with quarterback Zach Mettenberger. You can feel the big play ability and new confidence in the passing game as the Tigers run passing drills. Mettenberger has that cocky confidence you look for in a leader and is also pretty humorous when chirping to teammates. While running passing drills in which lower end assistant coaches/grad assistants were throwing balls, Mettenberger chimed in, (saying) the guy on the end wasn't too impressive and needed to be replaced. I believe the word "stunk" was used. For those looking for a quarterback to take charge, #8 appears to be your guy. Can James Wright make an impact in this receiving corps? He looks good in a uniform and certainly could bring a more physical presence, listed at 6'2 and 201 pounds. ... Russell Shepard needs to hang on to passes. The suddenly turned senior still tends to drop balls fired straight into his hands. ...To his credit, he's great for team chemistry and is a fantastic ambassador ...
Mett has embraced that role since the day after the BCSCG and has not looked back. Shepard has always had hands of stone. The reason he was so good in high school is because he had direct snaps and he could just run with it, on top of being so much faster than everyone else.
