I have to say...the OL is the biggest surprise of the season. We new they were all very talented but had no idea they would be this good this early. The general feeling here is that they look better at this point in the season than our senior laden looked at this point last year. They ceraintly looked better against South Carolina and South Carolina has a better DL than last year. Some of that could be attributed to South Carolina's DC (Charlie Strong) going to UF. Strong sent many different blitzes last year and that confused the line. The good news is that these young lineman have experienced success early and that has given them confidence. LSU has many tricky blitz packages so we will see how well the OL handles adversity. This will be a defining game for them. And this is the first week this year that I have said that. At Clemson, we hit them with a 57 yd TD pass on the first series. They were quiet from then on. The last 2 games have been at our place. It will be interesting to see how our young guys handle the constant noise level this week. I know Saban is playing down this game. But it feels awfully big to me.
