I like both Auburn & LSU's chances to beat Bama.

University of Alabama wide receiver Tyrone Prothro was discharged from DCH Regional Medical Center on Wednesday afternoon, ending a 26-day stay as he recovered from a broken leg.

... first spotted by the Alabama receiving corps when he showed up at Bama’s Wednesday practice.

Shula said that Prothro will “have a long haul” in his recovery.

...there were “a couple of pauses” in practice that enabled Prothro’s teammates to “kind of migrate over there.”

my worst fear for the LSU game is that he comes out with the team on a wheel chair or something...

history says when people do inspirational things like that, their teams rally behind them and win big!

but with that being said, I hope the kid is fine!

cgisclair, I hear what you're saying here but don't forget during the 2003 season they carted out Vaught's ass during the LSU/Ole Miss game and he was 125 years old...........it didn't matter. Not to downplay the significance of an incident that you are describing but those types of things aren't always successful.

We will be FULLY motivated for the Bama game. I predict a completely demoralizing and crushing defeat for Bama that weekend. I feel like we will finally put our A game together. Even some of the posters on the Bama boards are saying if LSU ever gets that A game going and if we get it going that weekend.......they admit.......THEY ARE SCREWED!

The talent difference between us and them that year is FAR larger than the one between us and Bama though

Agreed. But I agree with Gottfried the other night......we have the better talent......even though Gottfried thinks Bama will win. I would bet he's thinking the home field advantage will carry Bama. He's got a point but I'm more comfortable playing Bama there. I know they are thinking 'payback' for last year but that's fruitless.
I think we put together our A game that weekend.
