Slap for you my bayou bengal You should worry about the preseason.......we'll own it. Nice of you to notice that our secondary finally got it together but that happened after our loss to osu (not to be confused with aosu). With Pinkard back, Mays, Ellison, T2, Harris, McCurtis, and Wright we're going to be SICK!
Yeah Yeah I know......but don't think we can't take it- kinda like eminent domain lil girl. :thumb: It's not where you start, it's where you finish. My question is for the Penn State guy......you have been credible here as far as I remember. Tell me more about this cause I sure don't see UCLA beating USC, and the "Big 10 as usual"?? Not trying to pick a fight, just seriously curious.
This is about right. I would venture to say if Russell returns, LSU would be #1 and at worst #2. Dorsey doesn't make as much of an impact since we are so damn deep at D-line (some chump named Al Woods waitin in the wings). Without Russell, I think we are still right at about #5. Flynn's play against Miami in the bowl game 2 years ago will project LSU pretty high.
If Russell stays I was going to dare to predict a #1 rating. worse case #2. if he goes I predict #5 maybe as low as 7
tiga, 2nd question first because it has the easiest answer. SEC and the Big Ten are the two best conferences, and I'm not going to start the argument for the 57th time on which one is better on here. Onto your first question, they had a very young team this year...and we saw what they did against USC and ND. 2006: Freshmen 43 Sophomores 31 Juniors 38 Seniors 13 and Patrick Cowan (QB) is a sophomore. Give them a bit of spring practice, and they can gain a bit of confidence.
I guess anything can happen in that game.....kinda like when we play Auburn. I just can't see it but I'm not aware of how many of UCLA's starters are returning and not only has USC had the last 3 #1 classes of recruit, they're putting together another possible one this year again. I know that doesn't automatically guarnatee success but dang. :yelwink2: :thumb:
