The problem I have is......an even the announcers said it......Brady should have taken Temple off of Steele early in the second half. He should have put Mitchell back on him like it was here in Baton Rouge. Steele was driving around him the whole half and dishing, getting fouled or getting layups. Also, a taller Temple on Felix would have helped. Other than that I thought it was a well played game overall.

Just too much Steele driving and getting layups.

Brady prolly should have made the move earlier but theres nothing to prove it would have made a difference in the 2nd half.

IMO what killed them was bama played their a++ game and the double down d on baby and the box and 1 on mitch. you saw it, baby was swarmed everytime he got the ball. he will learn to voercome this as time goes on. hopefully this season but it should definetly happen next season. baby wants to improve his game everyday and he will take what happened and use it to get better.

I didn't say we would have won if the move was made. Baby is double teamed in every game.....especially the Tenn. game. And every team is going to give us their A++ game.....if people aren't on the correct men though, that kinda hurts. Match-ups are the most important part of it. You get players into the wrong match-ups and you can assure yourself of a loss.

The proof that it may have worked was we beat Bama by 11 last time when the match-ups were correct.

Oh i'm not arguing any of your points. anything could have happened with the switch and I do think it probably would have helped if it was done sooner. as you saw it was a back and forth game all the way. I just think the ultimate keys were the d on baby and d.mitch... but even with those things it came down to the wire, the last 11 seconds for a tie... i thought it was a great game to watch.

by the way big baby doesn;t face the dowuble down d like he saw yesterday every game. tenn played him tough as did bama but not every sec game played out with the double.

bottomline is the guys are set to make a big run. the loss is not that unexpected. they will probably lose at fla. thats fine too. I definetly did not want them to go undefeated into the big dance. that would have doomed them imo. lose a few to keep you grounded (not purposely of course)and turn it up when the tourney is here.

I'm still having a hard time figuring out how this kid gets his own radio show.
Just goes to show the pathetic state of sports talk radio in this town, I guess.

WOW scrapster ANOTHER person who thinks like I do.... guess your theory that I am the only one is a false one.

by the way gman, he is on the show becasue his cohost BUYS the airtime. they are not paid by clearchannel. scrap once said he didn;t get paid to do the show, as of last week he made comments that that was false, he is getting paid. either way the shows slot is bought and paid for. I suspect he got the cohost slot becasue blake knew his pops and had met scrap and took him on becasue scrap would work for free. in the begining I am sure the cash flow as tight for the show and I bet it runs a pretty tight and slim budget now.

I'm pretty sure it works that way on all of 1210's programming...these guys are independent contractors who have to get their own sponsors. That's why
Songy's show pretty much sounds like one long infomercial for Manda's Fine Meats.

Hey Victory why would it matter if they were undefeated going into the tourney? Is it b/c maybe teams might not play well if they go into the tourney undefeated? Hmmmm that means your going back to stuff that happened last year or the year before or so on. We're not allowed to do that here. This is this years team pal, so I think that they could have gone undefeated into the tourney and rolled right through it... who cares would history might show. These are guys that play this year an they respond differently to different things.

Well I appreciate the fact that you guys don't like me. But why does a thread about LSU basketball have to become a thread about how allegedly bad I am? I said nothing about you or the other douche bag personally yet he always turns anything I say into a personal attack against me. If you don't like my show thats fine, but you don't have to hijack a thread about LSU sports voice your opinion.
