LSUGOLFER you are a damn fool, and everybody else who says Temple should not be playing. LSU just played the #2 ranked team in the country and Temple held there best 3 point shooter to 3-16 shooting for the night. Did you not see what happened when he fouled out against Ohio State with 5 minutes left to go? Yeah, as soon as he fouled out LSU fell apart. They play better when he is on the floor, and that is it. I cant explain it, maybe they like playing with him, maybe its a chemistry thing, whatever it is LSU is a better team with Temple on the floor. Oh yeah, about a week ago I said Tyrus Thomas was higher than Glen Davis on the Draft board and somebody said I was crazy... All im going to say is this Go look it up, I was at the game in Hartford and behind the goal they had a row of 33 NBA scouts. Tyrus Thomas is a TALENT and he caught the eye of all 33 NBA scouts yesterday. Tyrus was already on the NBA Draft board, but now... LSUGOLFER stick to golf, this is the Tiger's Den... real sports only:angryfire
What a load of crap. You are the only one who thinks Temple should be playing. Well there are 2 people, and one is the worst coach in the SEC. Yes Defense wins championships, but our defense is good with or without Temple. We dont lose anything when he goes it. We fell apart to Ohio State because once again coaching became a factor. When we run and gun and dont run any plays, we get a big lead, we Brady tries to coach, we give up big leads. No one here can deny that. As for a real sport, HAHAHAHAHA you obviously have never played. It is the one of the hardest sports to play and it is one of the only sports you cant ever master. But ty for your post. Now you can go back to school. 9th grade is it?
I've been one of the biggest critics on the schedule issue and I absolutely love the basketball non-conference schedule this year. I would rather lose one or two non-conference games a year versus beating up on cupcakes every year. I also think our football non-conference schedule is too weak from time to time, like one quality game against a quality team a year there. Brady said in an article recently that he needed one more shooting guard, well I don't understand why he lets some of those leave Louisiana and go took Texas Tech and other schools and have success while looking the other way. We always seem to be weak at guard for some reason. Having said that I have enjoyed this season so far, they've been good games.
So sensitive about your golf... Did you say 9th grade, try a MBA (LSU Alumni). Our defense is good on the interior with or without Temple, but we NEED him (Temple) for our perimeter defense. If you cant admit that you just dont know what you are talking about are you just have something against him. Just so you know when Temple fouled out with 5 minutes or so to go in the Ohio State game their leading scorer had only 4 points. At the end of the the game he had 13. Bad coaching is when he put Voogd in the game, he had 3 crucial turnovers within a 5 minute span, and the guy Temple was guarding ended up being the difference maker,b/c he is the one that got their crowd back into it with those 3's. Anyway, we will just have to agree to disagree b/c I feel that Temple should be on the floor, and you dont.
not the only one. i'll even say temple is the best defender on the team. you're nuts to say he shouldnt get tons of pt (i dont give a $hit who starts). GT has size for his position. TT can get manhandled down low if the post player knows what hes doing. thats why TT is best helping out. plus TT still love the block too much---makes him leave his feet too early. still tries to knock it to the tenth row, too---not complaining though.
