John Brady is not a Skip hire. John-boy screws this edition up and it's hello Mike Anderson.

First it isn't SOME LSU fans. It is the vast majority. Open your eyes and ears. Have you seen the dismal attendance figures. That is the true voice of the fanbase. Just like Sabanfan, you don't have to accept it but it is reality. Second does Skip really think Brady is the right man for the job or is it totally a $$$$ issue? Here is a recent quote from Skip himself.

"You're right, he has been here for eight years...If you throw out those first three years, like the year he went to the Sweet 16, he has got nothing".

Now that sounds like someone who is thrilled about his basketball coach.

You missed my point. People complain about coaches. That's OK. It happens everywhere. What gets old is the constant bashing. The thread starter was about seeing the players and how they looked. If you want to start another thread bashing Brady, go ahead. I will ignore it. This thread was a good one yet the critics have to throw in the Brady reference where it doesn't apply. I commented on it. And you disagreed. Fine. It still gets old.

I'd like a link to that quote.

I will accept what Skip decides, heck I was kind of hoping for a change at the end of the 2004 season.

    It is the vast majority.

I disagree with that but we have no way of knowing right now, although I will concede it is a lot of fans. By biggest concern is the statement that Skip doesn't care, he does care and he wants to make the right decision for the university, not what vocal fans want. The disillusioned are always the ones who make the most noise. And if he adhered to the wishes of those making the most noise we would have new coaches in the 4 major programs about every 2 years.

I never said he was a Skip hire, that makes me even more confused as to why people always bash Skip.

Your boy J-Roy drops a positive report regarding the basketball team and the fact that they are playing together on a volunteer basis on campus in July and some of you feel the need to drag it through the mud and put a negative spin on it. I can't imagine that those kids would appreciate your response to the news that they are hooping it up together and getting comfortable with each other - not to mention that Davis is showing off the results of what has obviously been a great conditioning program over the last few months.

Some of you wouldn't know good news if it punched you in the balls - some of you are the most negative losers on the planet and the fact that you are associated with LSU sucks. It takes effort for anyone to be that freaking negative at every turn...

Tack Minor wasn't there. They didn't play hard nose so it was hard to tell how good they guard on D. They kind of let each other dunk and stuff.
