Interesting stats. We shot 50% from the field (33 - 66) & 43% from 3 point land (9 - 21). FT shooting could have been better. We only made 6 of 11. I was surprised at the rebounding numbers. We had 36 & the Hogs had 40. I thought there would have been a wider margin in favor of the Hogs.
Picked up with 11 and change to go in the 2nd. Great game. Great buzzer beater by Bruce. Rebounding still sucks I don't care what the numbers say. Hope Mickey gets well quickly.
The refs were horribly biased in this one. Why anyone would full court press LSU the entire game is beyond me. Arky's coach lost them this game. We tend to struggle in the half court offense and we do very well in the transition game. Strange strategy by the hogs.
He's a Nolan Richardson disciple and was trying to implement his version of '40 minutes of hell' that Richardson won a championship with. Great, clutch win over a team that was 17-1 at home this year; the only loss being to No.1 Kentucky. But, does this make up for the debacle at home last Wed and put us in the tourny or are we still a bubble team?
