I thought Chavis took his defense to aTm. It invaded the PMAC tonight. Ugh. That was terrible effort. If you asked anyone who had never watched either team which one was fighting for the NCAAs they'd have all picked the Vols.
that was hard to watch from start to finish. Hornsby was the only one who showed up to play ball until the final seven minutes when everyone decided to slap the court and start playing defense
As others have commented on, consistency in effort is a real problem with this team. Particularly JMickey. What's up with him? He looks like an NBA player one game, then like he is sick another. We need his effort down low, rebounds and scoring, to be that team that won a few in a row. Disappointing. Gotta bounce back against ARKY.
LSU was looking really good early in this one. Seem to be reverting back into the "jack up a quick shot" mode now, though. Our lead is down to 4 with 5:29 left in the first half.
Anybody watching? Gray and Epps are playing great. Built a nice lead in 1st half, then Darcy Malone passes up a dunk, kicks it out and we miss a 3 pointer, then Arky goes down and hits a 3. Then, we start taking quick outside shots, miss them, and Darcy Malone shoots a 3 pointer and misses. Arky hits some 3s, and cuts a 13 point lead to 4.
Ugh! We've got so much talent, and play phenomenal in stretches, then get undisciplined and throw up quick 3s back to back to back. Arky back in it.
