I think the only way LSU does not get in the tourney now is if they go 3-3 to finish the season and lose in the 1st round of the SEC tourney. A 4-2 slate and we're in most likely.
kinda hoping they don't win out, because being a 10-12 seed is much better than being a 8/9, even if you have in a play-in game. lsu has often gotten screwed with a 8/9 seed (see 09). 11 would be great.
There is a good history of 12 seeds beating 5's and 10's beating 7's in the first round. In a mock selection last week the Tigers were seeded 10th with a first round matchup with Ohio State.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about seedings. 10-12 would be perfect. Still, playing strong at the right time of the year is not a bad thing. Getting hot, and melding as a team trumps seeding considerations. I really like the lineup changes CJJ has made. I'm hoping their chemistry is coming together at the right time.
Yeah, they need to settle down and get the ball down low to the go-to guys. They need to pass like they mean it, not like they are entitled. Playing sloppy so far.
