Indeed. He should have called timeout right after they jacked up that three early in the shot clock and had Tennessee run down to make it a 6-0 run.

I don't see it that way. I'll say first that I walked in at halftime to find them up 47-20. I don't know what they did in the first half, but the second half has been all sorts of ugly. When you have a 27-point lead with only 20 minutes to play, you have to try REALLY hard to lose that game. We're watching them give a clinic on how to blow a big lead right now. They're jacking up three pointers early in the shot clock, lobbing the ball all around the court, and Johnny Jones is letting Tennessee go on extended runs without trying to call a timeout to calm it down. I don't see it as nitpicking.
