I can't wait for the Kentucky game tomorrow night. This will be THE measuring stick for where we are right now as a team. A win didn't know how good I had it back then......
I can hardly wait for the game tonight! I have a good feeling about our chances against Kentucky. I don't really have a reason why but I've felt all season that we had the personnel to beat them. If we win this one we cement our place in the NCAAt imo. We are going to need some bench players to come up with big minutes tonight to get a win. I hope the Deaf Dome is rocking for this one....wish I could be there! Geaux Tigers!
As of 2 days ago there were only about 300 tickets left so I'm expecting a sellout and a raucous crowd. Of course this is what Kentucky is used to every time they play on the road they face a hostile environment. KY is only allowing an average of 51 points per game. LSU will have to bring their A+ game and hope that the Wildcats are a little bit road weary. You have to to think that sooner or later somebody will beat them, I hope tonight's the night. No stupid turnovers, no standing around while somebody jacks up a way too early three. No early foul trouble, especially on Mickey and Martin.
Agree on all points here. I haven't been this excited about an LSU basketball game since the last time we made a run in the tournament 9-10 years ago.
The thing that scares me is Kentucky is taylor made it to win against teams like the Tigers... Their is no doubt in my mind that we can play up with their starters but when our staters are on minute 29 & theirs are subbing in after only playing 15 thats where my concerns start...I hope with about 15 left in the second the Pmac is as loud as its ever been & gives our boys enough energy to make it til the end of the game Side note Malik Neman 5 star 2 guard who has UK & LSU in his final 5 will be at the game...rumour is UK ileads by far but a good showing in this game could give us some momentum..... Lets go Tigers!
