See post #120 a page back.

This team turns the ball over WAY too much. That will have to be fixed in short order.

I watched the 2nd half and I just can't figure out how we were out rebounded? It sure didn't look that way but I guess the box score doesn't lie.

Quarterman has been a pleasant surprise. He had an off night shooting, but that dunk was nasty. Bigger and longer than most PGs, but plays it well, shoots well most nights, and probably athletic enough to play the 3 if he had to.

TOs have been a problem for this team all year, and I'm starting to think that's just who we are. It's probably not going to get cleaned up at this point. We aren't a great team, but I think we are good enough to win a couple of games in the tournament.

So, I hadn't really taken a hard look at our roster and how many years our key contributors have been there. Wow. We only have two seniors, and they aren't really key players. Obviously, we'll be watching closely to see what Mickey and Martin decide after the year on whether or not to leave, but we'll have a large part of this roster back next year when the new guys come in. It's vital that we make the tournament this year, just to get these guys seasoned a bit. With the way basketball rosters turnover, we have the potential to be one of the top teams going into next year, especially if Martin, Mickey, or both decide to come back.

    1 Jarell Martin F - So.
    3 Elbert Robinson III C - Fr.
    4 Keith Hornsby G - Jr.
    5 Josh Gray G - Jr.
    10 Henry Shortess G - So.
    13 Antonio Robinson G - Sr.
    15 Jalyn Patterson G - Fr.
    20 Brian Bridgewater F - So.
    21 Aaron Epps F - Fr.
    22 Darcy Malone C - So.
    24 Carlton Speight G - Fr.
    25 Jordan Mickey F - So.
    31 John Odo F - Sr.
    45 Brandon Eddlestone F - So.
    55 Tim Quarterman G - So.

This team is getting fun to watch. the perimeter d is the big improvement over last year. Damn frustrating how m&m are either to dumb or too lazy to block out on Def boards. That is going to be what keeps then from doing much this year. 1 tourney W at most.

I can't believe Odo is one of the two SRs. When CJJ was coming to LSU and possibly bringing 7'0" John Odo with him as a recruit, I had higher expectations. Some just don't pan out.

I hope both Martin an Mickey come back. Neither is NBA ready now, especially Martin. With those two along with Ben Simmons and the other new guys and Gray, Hornsby and Quarterman with another year of experience this team could make a serious run come March, 2016.

Odom's is only useful as a foul sponge.

Really makes me appreciate how Geert turned out. On that note, I'd bet Darcy is pretty decent as a Sr.

Geert had the advantage of practicing against Shaq every day. When he got in a game against a normal big guy it was a step down in competition.

Hornsby is doing a hell of a job blocking shots today. That was quite the block on that run out by A&M.
