Thomas had 2 fantastic dunks tonight. The 1st came on an alley-oop where TT caught it and reversed dunked it. The 2nd was already mentioned-- a breakaway 360. The crowd really went nuts for both of them. In fact, I think I only saw Thomas take one shot that wasn't a dunk attempt. He's an animal!LSU!
You guys can count on a tight game Saturday. Gottfried got his point across when he picked up the T at your place. Baby was being very physical down low and he wont be able to play the same in Coleman. We're coming off a loss to UGA where they just couldn't miss. You guys are primed up for your first loss. The house will be packed and it will be loud. We played well the first 35 minutes of the game at your place...Sure, Thomas had a bad game and he wasn't "himself"...but neither was our Ron Steele or Davidson. I think we match-up fairly well with you guys although we're not deep at all. You guys will probably put more effort into guarding Hendrix because of his big game at your place and hopefully that will open up Davidson for some looks. Also, look for Steele to get more involved in this one. He's kind of carried the team the past few games. He's a leader. It's gonna be a good game no doubt, but I honestly see us taking it. I think Baby will get into early foul trouble...He tends to just lower his head and drive. I'm sure Gottfried has addressed this with the players and we may get a couple charges out of it. I also think Felix will have a pretty good game. I'm anxious! Roll Tide!
I dont think gottfried getting a tech in the first game is going to affect the officiating for the second one. Correct me if im wrong but the same crews dont do both games and even if they do theres a lot that goes on between those games where a coach complaining about fouling is going to get forgotten by a referee. Ive got LSU by 8. I dont think you guys at bama can match up with big baby or tyrus down low and tyrus seems to get better every game. Unless davidson and steele are on fire from outside i dont see it happening. Without chuck davis yall dont have the same inside outside punch that you did last year.
