I do. I think a coach that runs an exciting brand of offense and can get along with his players, along with promoting the program could fill the arena on a regular basis. I think this program needs a change so that the fans can get back involved.
It doesn't even have to be an exciting brand of offense. It just needs to be an effective offense at the college level. We ran more complex motion offense in 8th grade than I have seen this team run all season. Why can't we run motion, back screens, flare screens, etc. Why can't we rotate a shooter to the corner when the ball is fed inside and work the inside-out passing game when Davis is double or triple teamed? Why does everyone stand still and wait to see what happens when Davis catches the ball within 15 ft of the basket? Why don't we crash the boards on both ends of the floor (The main reason that UGA beat us. They had a ton of put backs)? In short, we have a terrible offensive philosophy, if it can even be classified as a philosophy.:dis:
I hadn't realized that Tack hasn't played in the last few games. We are down another guard. Wow, might as well put Tasmin Mitchell in the back court! He seems to be the only consistant threat from the outside left. Keep in mind I haven't seen any games lately because they aren't televised in this part of the country including game plan.
You see this is the root of the Brady problem to me. Each year we found something to allow him some time, whether it be landing a big recruit, winning a big game, or now, going to the FF. He is a good defensive coach and recruiter, but his antiquated "slow it down" style of offense just will not allow you to win many big ball games, unless (in last years case) your defense is playing just plain lights out. But, no matter what, there will always be a few games in which, no matter how well youre playing defense, the other team will force you to score and he just doesnt seem to have the schemes to do that, atleast he doesnt go to these schemes until its too late it seems.
not true. lsu had plenty of good looks yesterday, including getting glen a shot in the paint to go up at the end. doesnt have the players to make the schemes work
Damn him. Landing a big recruit? Winning a big game? Going to the FInal Four? Damn the bad luck. DAMN THE BAD LUCK!!!:hihi: :hihi:
Well with his brilliant coaching schemes I will personally garuantee that will never happen, especially considering that we are already spiralling back into mediocrity (with talented players no less) and might not make the big tournement this year. And yet we lost, so too little too late. All I know is I have never been a fan of his coaching style and never will be. This statement sums up my feelings on the matter, BTW, because truthfully, I would kind of rather see us dominate every sport out the, but thats just me  .
