LSU basketball is poorly coached

The problem definitely didn't start this year, as I can remember all of Brady's teams being this way. As far as the final four, Thomas is gone and we're about to drop out of the top 25 this year.

Somtimes players like Thomas blossom and supply the necessary skills to take a team to the top. Then highly rated recruits such as Kounjai and Rolle fail to live up to expectations then we are disappointed.
It seems that Brady is snake bit. When he signs a great player, Swift and Thomas, they are lottery picks.
IMO, Brady is a pretty good coach but it is difficult to stay on top every year. Even Kentucky has slipped the last few years. The SEC is probably as balanced as I have seen in many years of following the game.
Hopefully Davis will play his senior year and the recrutis coming in can play SEC ball.

So you don't consider EXTREMELY sloppy play undisciplined? WOW! If that's the case, John Brady is the best coach in college basketball.

Your patience has paid off. You knew there'd eventually be a thread you could contribute to.

Amen. Don't forget about the stupid turnovers....especially charges. I've never seen a team with as many charging fouls per game that LSU has. If you see a defender just standing there, don't run right in to him.

Brady's teams over the years are/were not fundamentally sound. Even last year they played sloppy but had the talent to overcome that. This year is a different story....they're not that talented. I don't expect to make the final four every year, but LSU should be a top 25 team every year with a good shot at making the final four, but they're not.

Brady has had only two good/great teams since he's been here. Last year's squad and the year with Stromile Swift. Both teams had the talent to win it all, but poor coaching prevented that. I think Brady is a lot like Dale Brown was, a good recruiter but a poor coach.

I know. Ever since I jumped on the Les Miles bandwagon, ive been aching for a get rid of a coach thread. I feel so much better!

Slow down, though. A good coach bashing thread should go on for days.

Anyway, if I understand correctly, even with good talent, Brady is not all that as a coach. I wonder if Coach K helped him get up on that step ladder?

as far as defense and rebounding go, i dont think a brady team has ever been "undisciplined".

Fire Bertman 1st because he will not fire Brady. He will wait for him to run the program into the ground 1st. He let the top baseball program go too **** before changing, he will do the same for bball.
