TT saved Brady job last year. Some people actually got tricked into thinking this bumb is a good coach.

One year he might decide to recruit a point guard.

Josh White is a point guard from Christian Life Academy who averages 26 a game, he has some big schools after him but LSU is not one of them

I don't think Brady is keeping people from coming to games directly. If we would have continued last season's success this season I think attendence would be high. But we've been consistently sinking in the ratings. If Brady could put together a 2-3 year run and follow it up with soild seasons making the dance more often than not, interest would be up.

We probably wouldn't be a very happy bunch if football was middling like our basketball program - remember the dark ages before Saban? Attendence and interest was way down during that time. If basketball could skyrocket to the elite like football has, the interest would be there. But if we crash and burn this season, Brady will be right back on the hot seat. Still, winning in basketball is not as easy at LSU as winning in football is and I think the people in charge realize that and will give Brady more time. I think he deserves it.

I'm not the most patient fan, but have you guys with the pitchforks forgotten how exciting our run last year was? Have you forgotten that we've had quite a few talented players the past few years? I'm disappointed we can't get better point guard play, but I think Brady has earned at least another year.

Here's to finishing off the season well. :geauxtige

Well I'm not gonna disagree that DB was more a motivator than coach but the fact was he won and there was always excitement in the air for LSU Basketball back then. Plus he always seemed to get some of the top talent in the country to come to LSU. They seemed to want to play for Dale and I don't see that with Brady.

Everyone keeps saying that LSU is all Football and while that is true there were many years when LSU basketball was the buzz. I was at many games and there were always lots of fans. Yea they might have been students but the people came to the games.

From the Macklin's, Cookieman to some of the last Dale B teams there always seemed to be that chance. Just don't see that now. Last year was the first time since Stromile that the spark seemed to be there and that was mainly because they got hot and on a role at the right time.

Not taking anything from Brady he just doesn't cut it for me and maybe its time for a change. LSU basketball doesn't have to be mediocre unless that is how Skip wants it.

I have not read throught this thread so dont know if it has been mentioned.

If Brady does get the boot sometime in the near future, I hope Bertman gives Butch Pierre a shot.

You're not paying attention. I don't have any expectations. I watch whatever team is out there and hope for the best. I have enough crap to worry about without getting worked up over LSU personnel decisions. When LSU is on a losing streak (like now) I shake my head and hope they snap out of it. It's a long season and I'm not into the gloom and doom thing. So what if they don't get to the playoffs or further? My life is not affected one bit. If the teams have success, it only makes things more fun.

These posts just crack me up!

    Gotta get better point guards!
If Brady could recruit guards like big men LSU basketball would be BIG TIME
    and could compete with Florida.
I actually think this is his flaw.
