One can only hope for this kids sake that he is just using it for exposure. He won't get drafted if he goes and probably won't get drafted next year if he comes back. Sampson won't get picked either

 

Hopefully he does the smart thing and doesn't hire an agent. He's not ready.

 

Did you see they are discussing getting rid of the 1 and done rule?

 

They ought to. Draft them out of high school.

I like the baseball rule. Draft them out of high school but if they choose to go to college they have to stay for 3 years. The baseball draft has 30 rounds but basketball only has 2. A lot of players who think they are going to be drafted would end up in college for 3 years. It would be good for the players and good for college basketball.
