i argue with my friend at the game about the highest NBA ceiling. i say its a tie between gaines and reid. then eason and then fudge. gaines is a wizard. late in the game he was toying around trying to create for edwards and then fudge. he did exactly as he planned. he is awesome. i think he will be drafted next year. its very interesting because he isnt yet a scorer. he is just decent putting the rock in the rack. but on defense and athleticism he is a wizard, and his court vision shows signs of genius. most exciting player i have seen with LSU since waters.
i wish i could alter space-time and play this years team vs last years. i think this team would win because while they are 15% worse on offense, they are 30% better on defense. i am repeating myself here, but these are two-way players without catastrophic defensive deficiencies. if cam thomas and javonte smart and trendon watford were on this team, they would be the 3 worst defenders in the rotation. the next thing i would like to see from this team is a breakout game from reid.
The length of this year’s team would be rough on last year’s team. I think I heard we’ve caused 10 shot clock violations so far this year. Pretty excited to watch this team develop.
cam thomas had 46 for the nets. the long island nets. cam thomas is not that great. a one dimensional volume scorer. doesnt make anyone else better, plays shit defense, isnt efficient. i feel like wade used him as a recruiting tool to show others how green a light can get. i would trade cam thomas for naz reid for sure
