true. but still, seems like lately we havent even been able to take advantage of gifts. not to mention, one hit would have been nice a lot of times lately! no matter how it is scored, i'll take it however we can get it.

What an awesome ending! USM puts 3 on LSU to take the lead by 1, and LSU comes right back to put 3 on them and take a 2 pt lead! Great lead off walk by Dozar. Outstanding game he had...he's the game MVP. My favorite part was how Spencer Ware gets up there next against their All-American closer, and puts down two terrible bunts to go to 0-2, and then we let him swing at the 3rd pitch and he chops it to the infield and BEATS OUT THE THROW WITH DAT SPEED!!! USM guy was so rushed he threw it over the 1B on top of that, getting Dozar to 3rd. It's Ware first hit since he's been back from football. Then the conference at the mound, and then Ross gets up there with the tying run on 3rd and we're like come on Ross, come on Ross, he hits it, the fielder throws it over the 1B, run scores (tie game), Ware gets all the way home (LSU up by 1), Ross gets to 3rd and then Watkins comes up and gets him home with a sac fly. And then Ott goes in there for the top of the 9th, and mows them down 1-2-3 for the win. F yes!
