LSU Baseball vs. UNC - College World Series

I thought that comment was much funnier than anyone gave him credit for. I guess everyone was in a bad mood having to stay at the stadium all night.

 

When I first said the joke went over like a lead balloon, that was based on listening to the press conference that was miked poorly. On the video the joke seemed to have gotten a better response, even from Fox. Under the circumstances, it seemed to me that Mainieri and Fox were both pretty classy...

 

I was at the Styx/Boston concert tonight at the Rivercenter and between bands the crowd started chanting...GEAUX --- TIGERS ---GEAUX ---TIGERS, for a minute or so.

Although people were missing the game (actually not) they were still thinking of the Tigers.

It was pretty cool! :thumb:

 

Hopefully the delay will bring us better fortune. It is very apparent we were not ready to be in that game. Maybe this is a sign from the Baseball Gods. Maybe someone is watching over us. I still have great trust in this team and how they will respond to having their backs against the wall. It just seems to be what motivates them to play better.:geaux::tigbas: :LSU231:

It was a Boston/Styx double tour that was also the Walton & Johnson Birthday Party. Id've gone if i had the time.

Heading up to the Wilson Creek Gorge ( up here in N.C. ) No internet, but will have Directv . Will have rally hat on ,so you guys have a great and safe weekend.

Ah yes...Billy Ed and Pra-leen. What are they, like, 70? I was listening to them 25 years ago in New Orleans.
