LSU Baseball vs. Rice - College World Series

Agreed. Though it seems that Rice is not that great of an offensive team. If we can get this picture deep in the pitch count and chase him from the game, I like our chances to get a few runs.

 

Maybe if you had paid attention to what I said, instead of always trying to contradict me...you would know that I DO NOT WANT BRADFORD OUT at this point.

I said that "I HOPE THAT HE DOES NOT HAVE A LONG LEASH"...meaning that IF he starts to struggle, that we don't need to leave him in TOO LONG...as that would be what a "LONG LEASH" would mean.


A "long leash" is something you give a pitcher in a game that is of little importance, NOT in the elimination game of the CWS.

Certainly looking like one of those days right now. At least Bradford has settled down. We just need one decent inning to turn this game around, so let's just keep them where they are.

 

with a short leash he'd have been out of the game with 2 runs in, one out, and runners on the corners.... seems as if the long leash has been pretty effective
