Could we be headed back to Omaha? We are doing much better in one run games this year. I feel we have the pitching to win enough games to host a regional. Then it's a matter of getting hot at the right time.

I think that last year, hitting was a problem in the first 2/3 of the season because Mainieri tried to play small ball to much after the bats were changed. At the end of the year, LSU hitters were swinging away and the Tigers were the hottest team in the SEC.

That's not a problem this year, apparently.
