    About Tulane:
    1. Tulane has better talent than LSU right now, especially pitching.

    2. Tulane is getting a taste right now of playing second fiddle to Rice every year which will help to legitimize C-USA, but not by much.

    3. Tulane reminds me of Utah (football) of last year. Didn't play anybody great the whole year. The few good teams they played on a weekend smoked them like CSF.

    4. The midweek games dont say much cause we beat Rice, Tulane beat us, and Rice beat Tulane when it really mattered.

add: If you want to argue that "Tulane beat LSU twice this year", I will come back with Kansas City Royals swept the Yankees... who do you think is the better team out of those two ?[/QUOTE]

As the man on the beer commercial once said:

    "BRILLIANT!"

Not necessarily, they just have not had as many injuries and also have been coached a bit better than our boys. The raw talent on our team is equal if not greater then that of Tulane, we just need to learn to mold them correctly.

Two good teams does not legitimize a conference. C-USA is and always will be a joke. Tulane will return to the cellar, and Rice likely will too.

Which good teams smoked Utah? I seem to remember they finished undefeated and bucked the BCS.

Rice has had excellent ball clubs for the last 5 or so years, they will stay at the top... Tulane will do the ole 1 great, 4 down.... but with Rice now joining Con USA, I expect Rice to get alot more media respect.

Naa... this team actually did better then alot expected, last years team was supposed to have the tools to win LSU's 6th title. This years team was pieced together. We always have big expectation, but really this year with some many dud seniors and young replacements... just wasn't meant to be. I say it will be two years before we make another big run, next year we could perform as we did this year.

Read what I said. I said it would "help to legitimize C-USA, but not by much."

Let me restate the sentence since you are obviously confused:
    3. The few good teams Tulane played this year, they got smoked (like CSF). Tulane reminds me of Utah (football) in that they didn't play anybody in their conference worth a damn. In Utah's case, even their opponent in the Fiesta Bowl was a complete joke.
