We have 13 more first place votes then bama, but still tied... which means we're ranked 14 in someones poll!?! how does that work?? edit: i realize it doesn't mean someone ranked us 14... but obviously enough coaches don't even rank us top 3 or 4?!? that's just as insane
LSU's number 1 in AP? Remember last time we ranked number one in the regular season? We played Kentucky the very next Saturday.... I hate parallels...
No it means Bama is 2nd in many coaches polls probably Something like: ............1st...2nd...3rd LSU.......20....17.....22 Bama......7.....30.....22 Between the top 3 teams, there are just 5 points lost from positioning these teams all in their top 3. Which is not surprising, these teams are the consensus top 3 at this point. Still have a lot of coaches not only not buying into LSU being #1, but not even #2.
ty for the explanation islstl... no sarcasm. I'm okay with that i suppose. I don't really care for us to be #1, but I don't get the bama love when you compare opponents right now. Of course, it really doesn't matter.... Nov 5th is scheduled.
Those guys probably had it OU, Bama, LSU in their pre-season polls. Some voters decide they had it right before the season and only a loss will change their minds.
