He's got a hell of a contract buyout. I read a while ago it's in the 20 mil range. With the financial shape the Athletic Dept is in they can't afford to fire him.
Yep, 23 Million On the other hand can they afford to pay him $9 Million a year for this shit for the next 2 or 3 years? He's getting Nick Saban money & coaching like Curley Hallman. LSU people will lose interest fast.
In order to buy him out, some TAF donors with really, really deep pockets are going to have to step up to the plate. Otherwise, he stays put.
They could put him on the percentage based buyout, like they did with Miles. But I know were in for multiple hiring & firing of various assistants every year. It's sad, if a good coach had this LSU team, we would be 5-0 or 4-1 at the worst, imo.
