Given the clear disrespect this team's coach, players, and fans have shown us, THIS is the statement that I agree with most.

I STILL think the SEC is best.

I am ECSTATIC that I don't have to root for AU in a title game.

I hope this situation turns out to be one more nail in the BCS' coffin...

 

Plain and simple....AUBURN deserves the shot at the title, I 100% agree. But since they dont get a shot, then thats where my train stops of supporting them. Back to the freindly AU bashing! :grin:

 

Totally missed the point. I don't care what Auburn fans did last year. My point is the significance of going undefeated in OUR conference is being slighted. This should anger every tiger fan and fan of the SEC. Whether you like it or not all SEC teams are in this together. Rivalries aside, I'm disturbed that apparently going undefeated in the SEC and doing so in a dominant way (outside of the LSU game) isn't more of an accomplishment than squeaking through the weak-10 with a few near losses, and more worthy of a national title bid.

I say screw AU also..any other day! But hell, this is the SEC!!!! This is OUR LAND!!!! If Auburn can go undefeated in the SEC, congratulations to them. They deserve a shot. I want ever SEC team to win despite my hatred for them. I want the OU/USC game to be as sloppy as hell, and I want Auburn to destroy VT....Remember, VT cancelled on us. Now's there chance to see what SEC play is all about. Plus, anything that continues to make @ssess out of those BCS kracker jack lovin fools is a plus.

I'm for sure in the hell not whining for AU, I'm simply supporting the SEC. Yea, if AU would've went to the Orange, I would've pulled for them. I would not have dropped down to their level like they did last year and pull for the opponent. However, now that they're not going, I am relieved that it's all over for them for another 20 or so years.

 

SEC set a bad precedent by allowing such BS to happen....if all the AD's and coaches went vocal I bet they'd have the AP seriously looking at splitting the NC.
