As crappy as our offense is just think. If they dont take Boutte catch away and finley doesnt gift them a TD we would have beat the #5 team in the country on the road. #5 team my ass. They are pretenders just like always
While some here, I won't mention fordouchenflush or lsu-i-like, were busy slamming Ensminger and O as usual I was busy watching how our defense was getting better. We will be a salty defense next year. When we get Brennan back and TJ and MJ more game reps along with a deeper and healed (Thomas and Bradford injured) OL we will back in the thick of things next year. Baskerville and Flott both had great games and will be back. Glass is half full for me not the opposite
All these kids were fairly high recruits. If they play poorly as a cohesive unit this far into the season* then much of that blame lies with the coaches starting at position and working way up to CEO.
Brady looked good last year partly because Burrow was the starter. Burrow's made bad play calls look like the guy who called the play was a genius. However a young freshman QB can make a great play call look terrible. We have no idea how good the plays we called last night were. You don't go from Joe Burrow then Miles Brennan to two 18 year old freshman and expect to pick up wher you left off last year.
