I knew second I saw the awkward shift and him stepping out that it would be all they needed. Also, the reviewers specifically watch in slow-mo. Doubt real-time is even a factor.
Just remembering a time when the old coach beat Texas A&M every single year & MooU every year but one.
After watching it for the 5th time, I definitely see the awkward ball shift. Really, catches have a HUGE grey area. A little ball shift in order to protect yourself should be ok. All about safety, right? However, real time is absolutely supposed to be a factor. It’s why the call on the field gets the benefit of the doubt. This “worked” exactly opposite of the rule.
I agree, BUT the refs were a big factor in both A&M losses and Miss. St. is better on average than during Les’s time.
Not arguing fairness, just telling you why. Selling the safety angle will also not change any zebras minds unless its targeting.
Dunno either 2019 6-7, 2020 2-6... Not like Dak Prescott is there..and Dak lost to us 3 of his 4 years
I can definitely cherry pick results but my statement was mostly centered in the eye test. I won’t be able to make that argument this year. Still baffled by that performance. Clearly the schedule getting f’d by COVID did not elicit a positive response from O. 4 9-win or more seasons from 1960-1999. 4 since 2000. 1/2 the time as previously. That’s definitely progress.
@Kikicaca , for when you are "Correctting" the game thread tomorrow, Oeaux might be interviewing this guy from his USC days as the linament for his Linehan issue.. "I have a strong relationship with the boogie monster from USC "
