Auburn is looking to avoid its 7th straight SEC home loss.

I look for the trend to continue at least for another week. Their defense is suspect and their O is more pitiful than a B.Harris led O. Etling will have a good game, not great, but good enough to move the chains and put some points on the board. The Tiger run game will chew up yrds and clock, and have success on the Plains.

If Les Miles keeps his foot on the gas, this game should be over by the 3rd qtr. I see a 31-17 LSU W.

LSU has lost more games at Auburn since 2000 than any other place other than at home.

    Auburn will come to play.

    LSU 21-20

It will be a sloppy game

Remember 2012? (12-10 LSU). Something like that...24-22 LSU. We stop the 2-pt att to tie in the 4th. Heart stopper, no doubt...

Auburn always comes to play to some degree, and if we were still straddled with Harris I'd agree, I might even say we lose this game. With the play of Etling and his ability to complete the forward pass, hit receivers in stride, I think our chances are much better. I'm just trying to make an effort to be optimistic.

#9 LSU defeated #17 Auburn 31-17. History will repeat itself this weekend.

Having a bought and paid for freak athlete at QB doesn't hurt either.

That was a curb stomping. Remember it like it was yesterday. Chad Lavalais had a big game, Mauck threw a 60 something yard strike to Devry Henderson. Auburn had Ronnie Brown, Lac Williams and Brandon Jacobs I believe. Also had Karlos Dansby on D.

LSU in recent years has a tendency towards sinking to the level of their opponents. I hope that doesn't hold true here. I hope Etling (and the rest of the team) have gained enough confidence by now to walk over Auburn. An away win will go a long way towards boosting the team.
