What I would like to see is Miles' running game backed by a strong passing attack that keeps the running game moving "Forward" I would like to see 4 LSU drives that take less than 60 seconds for TD's . And 5 that eat up the clock for TD's . Total control . Auburn has good players , they are a SEC Team. They will beat LSU or Bama . My hope is that it will be Bama
Not this year. Chizik as a coach there is 36-32, take out Cam and hes 22-32, I'll take that. They start a TF and a RSF at the two OT spots. They have problems on the OL. You don't want to play LSU with line problems, on both sides of the ball with Aubarn. LSU rolls.
Gene Chizik is a former DC, this is his game. Auburn is 14th of 14 teams in the SEC statistic of rush defense, like I said, gonna be a long night. Their rush defense looks bad, real bad. Holes everywhere. They are surrendering 217 rushing yards a game for 107th in the nation out of 120 schools. You can't win in the SEC with that kind of numbers.
If it wasn't for the lucky ass hail mary pass just before halftime, they wouldn't have sniffed overtime and would've lost to ULM. I'm not worried about the barners, LSU just needs to do what they do and they'll romp.
AU is ranked 111 in passing offense, 102 in total offense and 104 in scoring offense. With stats like that, LSU's D shouldn't be on the field for too long. And I really want to see us not have any costly breakdowns in pass coverage. That hole needs to be plugged before we play a well-coached team with a good QB.
I agree we should win easy. However, it's our first road game of the year against a traditionally good SEC team that won it all only a couple of years ago. We have a new QB and a shuffled O-Line. I'm not nervous about the game right now but will be a little on Saturday afternoon (just because that's my general nature). *Those stats for Chizik really make you appreciate how good Cam was in college (and probably will be in the NFL). Why did he have to play for a division rival of the Saints?
Cam didn't do it ALL by himself. He had a teammate on the defensive side of the ball that also wasn't particularly fond of the rules.
