Oh I'm aware. Just wondering what the deal is. Why do we see the same ole same ole every year, minus the Flynn/Mett yrs? I know the answer, just want to hear it from someone else.
I have an Aurtro Fuente A in a coffin worth about 50 bucks I'm going to smoke after thanksgiving for my sons wedding. As far as cigars go it is really not that pricey but it's special to me because I bought it for that occasion and it has been resting in my humi for that purpose.
Perhaps. However, you can't have a good passing offense when you don't throw the damn ball, and we have shown little to no ability to develop a QB since CLM has been there, regardless of talent. Mett is the obvious one to look at, but he had been around for quite a while before he showed up at LSU. I honestly have no idea what AJ is or is not capable of at this point. I don't think he is excellent by any means, but the coaching staff sets him up for failure so darn much that it is hard for me to completely blame him either. The make no effort at all to get him into a rhythm or to set him up for success in any way. They force him to throw in obvious passing downs repeatedly, and he seems to have yet to be introduced to the fact that we have a tight end on the team. There were quite a few big programs who recruited him hard and they must have seen something they liked. So, while he may not be the next Peyton Manning, I don't think he is nearly as bad as he looks.
You want to know who Les' ideal QB is? It hit me while I was watching Bama/State. Blake Sims. A guy who you rarely have to call on to win a game for you, while letting the run game do the heavy lifting. A prototypical game manager who can make plays with his feet when needed to move the sticks, but who can also pick up critical 3rd and short to intermediate yardage through the air.
