    Good

4-4 in red zone. 0 Turnovers. 2 penalties. JR was 16/22 for 208 and 2 TDs.

    Bad

Gave up 176 yards rushing. 3/9 on 3rd downs.

Not horrible but not great either. I have to think they wanted to keep things as simple as possible to prevent injuries and keep the extent of the play calling to a minimum. Notice Skyler only had 1 catch for 8 yards. I think we will be much more open next week on offense.

  2. They didnt do too much better today

I'm sure some will. However, Bama didn't look all that impressive today either against Miss St -- a team we beat rather convincingly.

Somoene else in an earlier post also mentioned that this was the result of having two cupcakes on the schedule back-to-back. The Bama game is looming and that had to be on the players' and coaches' minds...

Appy State was much a more formidable opponent than N. Texas.

We looked very impressive. Appy State would be Moo U by at least 50 points...hehe ;)

I am glad we got the win. That is the important thing.

When you play bad and can still win thats good.

Hope it means were ready for Bama next week.

I Look for it to be a great game next week.

    Let the hype begin.
