I don't remember Russel even taking a snap his senior year
pretty sure our QB was white that season

No one mentioned any of the LSU quarterbacks who died before their time... so I'll have to go with these five best in the RIP category.

    1) Mike Miley... Died in a car wreck (1975)

    2) Butch Duhe... Died of a brain hemorrhage (1970)

    3) Carl Otis Trimble...Died in a tubing accident on the Tangipahoa River (1976)

    4) Trey Prather...Died of complications from stepping on a land mine in Viet Nam (1968)

    5) Young Bussey...Died in the pacific theater in WWII (1945)

My bad. I meant his Junior and last year at LSU.
Most of Russell's senior year was spent holding out
for more money from the Raiders

    Mike Hillman-best left hander?
I pick Hodson over Jones because much of Jones career he was splitting time with Paul Lyons. And Lyons saved our butts on more then one occassion.

Why does everyone forget Jamie Howard? He did play under the Hallman years which were losing seasons, however, he was one of the most gutsy quarterbacks that I have ever seen. I can remember a game against Arkansas that, if we won, we would have been bowl eligible. Although we lost, he put on a heck of a performance. He was continually knocked down and he kept getting back up with fire in his eyes. He was very talented and if he would have been on a better team, you would have seen alot better stats from him.
