Like I said, not a fan, but we could have won with better offense.

The sunshine came out today. Unfortunately the sunrise I watched - with the 23 yr old babe I'm banging -just saying - did look a bit more Crimson than I would have liked. Here's the juice: the coach we have who was having trouble beating Bama is now falling far behind in even being able to compete with Bama. Is Les now entering the Charlie Mac zone??

Some d lineman that weren't on roller skates would have helped too.

In LSU's case a collection of very capable athlete's that as a group, finish their career's
with single digit catches, never go to the NFL, almost never score a TD. However, their uniforms
are in pristine condition except for the section covering their ass, as the "material" in this section
    is worn from excessive use!!!!

Everything you said is absolutely correct. I agree with all of it. The loss makes me sick. I just don't see the value in the level of cussing of our team that was going on last night. It was that aspect that made me angry at our fans on here.

I'm sick of being Bama's bitch as much as anyone, but I don't wish to cannibalize our team and coaches.

People handle it differently. Not gonna blame anyone for name calling or anything. I think the attitude you see though reflects the attitude of the team on the field. No guts, no heart. If you would have seen a team fight like hell last night, maybe you'd see a different attitude on this board today.

Well said. Bama had the fire, LSU didn't. I think the swagger is gone, especially against Bama.

What a load of horseshit. 2002, the year after winning the SEC (with three losses), we lost to AU and Alabama 31-0, lost to Arkansas on a last second hail Mary when Matt Jones had completed two passes the whole game before that, then went on to be Chris Simms' and Roy Williams' bitch in the Cotton Bowl.

2003 was a great season, so 2004 was looking really bright. Wrong again, a disappointing season pretty much throughout.

    Second to none? Not hardly.

I'm not so sure that the attitude would be different, LaSalle. Last year and in 2012, we played Alabama much better than we did last night or in '13. The end result, though, was the same, and the bitching was much the same.

The close losses actually hurt much worse because of all of the what ifs. Last night, like in '13, we played it close for a half, but we got our asses kicked in the 2nd half.

It sucks to no end...Les Miles compares with Charlie Mac in almost every single way (except that he does win more games than Mac did.) But, dammit, Mac couldn't beat the Bear (not that anyone else could with any sustained level of success, either.) Sound familiar?

Is it true though? i mean throw out all the name calling and Les sucks and Fournette is scared or whatever was said and just focus on that sentence about Cholly Mac, you gotta admit there are similarities. It sucks that the greatest coach LSU ever gets still isn't good enough to beat Alabama.
