We need some of the SEC AD's/SIDs to vote LSU #2 in the Coaches Poll and put USC at something like 4 or 5 to catch a little ground on them. If just a few schools do this it could really help, if we jumped them in just one human poll that basically makes up a whole 1 point differential since they would lose .5 and we gain .5
That would be really unethical. I was wondering if the AP would do something like that to LSU just so they could have their precious USC-Oklahoma game. It would be bull if they put us in 4th behind Michigan after winning out.
Well people may be doing this on their own. You noticed after every week where the opposing team says "These guys are every bit as good as USC/OU" we gain a few points.
As much as some may not like Tim Brando's comments in the past, did anyone catch his speech about the New York Times poll before the Ole Miss game? He pretty much called it garbage on National television and then said they should revise it...I am glad someone finally pointed it specifically out on national tv and how badly it is....
Tim Brando began his broadcasting career in Baton Rouge. My dad, a high school football coach, tutored him on his FB knowledge during the early 80's when he did BR TV and radio. Brando better give the Tigers some love.
We need to dominate Ark and UGA in the SECCG to get to #2 in the human polls. If that happens, I think we very easily get to #2 in the BCS.
