LSU #9 in Playoff Rankings

  1. LSU has dropped all the way to 9 in the playoff rankings. It is on ESPN right now. Bama is up to 2.

  3. Playing for a bowl game. Hope it's someplace warm.
  4. Well, barring a miracle that gets LSU back in the top 4, aiming for the Sugar Bowl wouldn't be so bad.
  5. Figured it wouldn't be out of the top ten. Still a remote shot and at least it's still a shot this late in the season.
  6. Even after the playoff committee has taken effect, it still holds true that the earlier you lose the better off you are. Regardless, I will be rooting hard for some top ten losses in the weeks to come.

  8. Should LSU try and get Alabama on its schedule earlier in the season? Is that even a possibility?
  9. That will never happen. Both teams want to be nice and warmed up before playing each other.
