He hurt himself his first start when untouched. Reacts like a soccer player every time he's touched but at least he gets up. I see BH in our future. And we need LF7 back healthy ASAP.
I expect we'll end up seeing BH at some point (getting him playing time isn't a bad idea...); I expect we'll see LF7 this weekend, I'd guess he's sitting because we havent really needed him since Eaux took over. Eaux's comments about Fournette are a little concerning, but it doesn't appear fournette's motivation is resting for the NFL.
I expect we'll see B. Harris long enough for him to "aggravate an old injury" and possibly be in line for a medical redshirt and play two years at another program. Could be totally off on the rule, but he hasn't used a redshirt and that would likely come into play should he transfer out after the season.
All we need to do is slow old piss down. Their only success has come from an accelerated offense. The teams that beat them are the ones the slowed em down and made em play football. They will no doubt, try to get some and early. Need to be ready for that fight from the first snap. Not a team we need to be playing catch up with. Anybody notice how good the line played when they moved tehuma to LG? Or was it LT? Either way, the line had so much more push at the 2nd level.
He was moved back to left guard where I think he played last year and Pocic was moved to his natural position. You're right, the line played a lot better. It was also encouraging to see Devin White and Rashard Lawrence see significant playing time. We are going to need those guys to be centerpieces of our defense next season. Travonte Valentine needs to get his damn act together. It's speculated the reason he didn't play was because he and others were loafing it during the week of practice.
Dude is a loaf. Knew he would be when his grades were an issue. With his potential for Sundays, he can use a day on the bench as a reminder that his shit will stink come the draft. Best he grows up. Same for everyone else. Bad ethics reared its head during the 1st half. O can state his case by getting this team ready to kick some dick come kickoff. He is a players coach, but these are kids that will test boundaries because... they are kids. A lot of growing up needs to happen here soon. We are no longer in a position to need a wake up call at the half. Come out the tunnel like that again and it's over.
He better be because Greg Gilmore is not the answer. He will get pushed around against the big boys...could start this weekend.
Yeah Gilmore leaves little to be desired. We need a dude that consistently draws 2 blockers. I like Rashard Lawrence he will only get better.
Ed Alexander showed some Saturday as well. If we can get 20 good snaps out of the four (TV, Gilmore, Rashad & Ed) we should be ok.
