I think the point you made is BIG. A lot hinges on the mental attitude. Also the offense now I believe is better than in the game against Florida this year. My key question is: is Bama's defense better than or equal to Florida's?

If the offense can execute despite the hostile environment, I like our chances......

I heard from one of my Gump buddies and he's pretty confident. Our offense sucks, Their Defense is better than ours by a lot. McElroy is great, etc.

I told him to call Nick Saban and tell him that Bama should pay more attention to the Washington and USL game films, because that was more of an indicator of where LSU's offense and defense are right now than any of the Auburn film...after all Auburn sucks...right?

I should have told him to tell Saban to read all the posts on Tigerforums before the Auburn game as well if he wanted to save a lot of time preparing the game plan for LSU. :hihi:.

It all boils down to 3 things:

    1) If Bama can't get a big run (or runs) out of Ingram or Richardson
    2) LSU not turning the ball over
    3) LSU needs to punt the ball decently well (can't have any shanks)

That's the keys to victory for LSU.

McElroy wont be successful passing it, that's for sure.

But if Bama runs it for 230 yards, it won't matter much.

i agree with all 3, and let me add that we have to get some sort of running game going to take pressure off of Jefferson.

At times teams have been pretty good at running right up the gut against our d especially florida so that is a big concern for me.
I agree they won't have much luck throwing the ball.

Nice try, but no one is fooled.

The way that your offense has been playing lately, it is most certainly an explosion.
Congratulations, you beat a team that will need a miracle to become bowl-eligible by 2 pts.

Yep, to the same team that beat you in the SECCG last year.
Clearly, it doesn’t. But if one is going to make an attempt at factual assertions, one must substantiate such claims with something other than a ‘wild-ass guess’. And hey, there’s nothing wrong wild-ass guesses, just recognize them as such.
Well, since you WON that game, I don’t think that I will be.
Ace, we held Florida to their lowest point total in quite some time. . .quite a few points less than Bama surrendered to them in Atlanta. Even an average offensive performance on our part wins that game.

Nah, I’m pretty sure it’s just the score that determines the winner. But I digress. You just got done saying that the QB didn’t cost us the game. But how were we to control the ball with such a lackluster QB performance? You apparently enjoy contradicting yourself.

No kidding? Is that why some are better than others?
And that’s all that we’ll have to do since your QB has shown his true colors as of late. With nothing else going offensively, the key will be to stop Ingram. Do that, and we control the game. With the way that our secondary is playing lately, this isn’t the game for Elroy Jetson to come around.
