What?? I don't!!! And for what it's worth, we as a fan base don't need to talk bad about anybody's offense. I hope we have found OUR offense.
Im not talking bad about anything. However, for someone to state they are going to win B/C of coaching is crap and I will respond. Just funny for as high as people think of Saban to be so equal to LSU at this point in the season. At this point in the season, LSU and Bamas D are almost even. Same for the O.
Me too! The question is, is it lost, or was it ever really there? A poor offense looks good against Fla. Int. and North Texas. I'm not saying our offense is any better, but no LSU fan was blowing about how JJ was a heisman canidate, like bama folks were with Mclroy(sp.int.)
Special teams and hopefully turnovers will probably be our best chance to score. I just don't see the offense being able to sustain any drives against there d. Will we see a game plan that is ultra conservative?
Really. You can't even sniff the end zone against the mighty Volunteers, UF got one TD on us (that was allowed by a blatant no call), yet you seem to think you'll explode for 24 points against us? Ok, then I just call that a wild-ass guess, as it certainly isn't based on any sense of logic. So you're disagreeing with yourself. That's interesting. They key to this game will be whether or not the LSU coaches try too hard to protect Jefferson as they did against the Gators. If they just turn the kid loose and let him play his game, LSU will control this game. He's becoming very adept at getting the ball to our very athletic, very tall recievers. I sincerely believe that they learned their lesson after that game, and after seeing his dramatic improvement over the last 2 weeks. Bama's D is as good as Florida's, so we'll need to utilize every opportunity to control the ball. The good news is, our D is just as good as Bama's (despite some posters' unwillinginess to recognize this), so Jordan gets a good look at what he'll be up against in practice all week.
This is one thing that makes me feel good about the game on Saturday. Our team is much better @ this point than we were a year ago. Our QB isn't an interception machine, our defense...well, we HAVE a defense this year, and our team is believing in itself. All of those things were going against us in '08.
I think it's possible. I think the defense is going to have to play its best game of the year, and possibly do the offense's job and score. We have the potential, all we have to do is execute:tigerhead
