Your winning streak from my point of view goes through 2003-2007. 5 years you had the best team period. History is a long trip and even though Bama has been super successful in BR back to 1971 even Bear lost a few in t-town. But given Bama's success in deaf valley, why wouldn't you feel t-town offered more hope and would be remembered more fondly? I don't think in 40 years the best team has always won, but with the programs of both these schools you could argue it was close, if were talking over that period. My guess is the home field for both schools is going to be a lot more dominant as time goes on.
Good post. Not at all out of the question. I do believe it'll be that kind of game...however, I don't see you guys scoring two touchdowns. 15-13 might be more like it. If that's your point of view, you're probably a good bit younger than I am. But the fact is, LSU has played Bama better AT Bama...no matter the coach. I don't have an answer as to WHY...just stating facts.
Is Saturday too far for you? Bama is bringing the caliber of player we've seen during those championship years. What I'm seeing is LSU loading up on talent that makes it hard for me to believe anyone is going to be too successful in BR in the future .So thats a compliment to your program. I can't remember this much talent over the past 7 or 8 years down there. Bama is going to get their's, apparently so is LSU. Lets go ahead and include Florida, Tenn. With 28 max schollies you can expect that to continue. It was said of coach Bryant he could take his and beat yours. He could take yours and beat his. Coaching, home field, and talent will decide saturday's game. Thats why Bama wins.
Lets just hope he doesn't coach like he did vs Utah. I'm sorry, but Saban isn't any better than Miles or Urban. As bad as people rag on Miles, Miles took his broken LSU team to OT with Sabans #2 bama last year. Bama doesn't have better talent nor better coaching. Still, its a matter of opinion so good luck to you. Hope you find your Offense.
