    Hypothetical:

    Lets say last year played out exactly the same way it did, and all of LSU's juniors decided to stay, would LSU be number 1 in the preseason polls?

    Both coaches, in their first four years, played Georgia and Florida the same number of times in the regular season. (I didn't include UofSC because they were, at best, an eight win team in the Shula era.)

    In the top 5, lol. Ya think? Return 9 NFL players, and you give us top 5. Thanks buddy. I think we all know we wouldn't have been ranked number 1 but definitely would have been the best team in the nation. And the reason not ranked number 1 is because we actually play opponents this year. It's easy to sit back and pick Alabama every year when they have 2 hard games on their schedule.
