That's the mentality of every fan and every player in the entire world. If not, they'd go find something else better to do. Go to a Tulane game, stadium is mostly empty
I've never played a sport a day in my life, unless you count dance and cheerleading... Also, we won the NC in '07 in Crowton's first year. It can happen.
Clemson has arguably the best QB and WR in football and was the #6 offense last year. People expect them and Georgia to have a high scoring shoot-out. Nobody is worried about facing the offenses of LSU, Florida, and South Carolina, two of whom Georgia has at home (Jacksonville for Florida). So expecting Georgia to have 2 losses and finish the regular season at #6/#7 is entirely reasonable, so #5 is not that far off and is probably on the low end (again, the first Vegas lines have Georgia going 12-0)
Ur kidding right? Nd sucked last year, played weak competition and truly lost to stanford. All those highlights and barely won? Laughable. This year, their schedule is weeeeak. 4/5 sec teams couldve done what ala did to nd Nd will prob lose 3/4 games this year and their wins will all be by 7 pts or less against formidable opponents. Andno. Temple isnt formidable
Obviously you did not take the time to examine the game highlights therefore due to immaturity I will not engage you in further debate/discussion. Notre Dame defeated OU 30-10. Alabama, Florida, Georgia and LSU will not schedule OU's Sooners in a one & one. Please do not mention OU on LSU'S future schedule due to the fact that LSU will usually cancel the future games just as they have Arizona State this year. John Chavis is a blow hard. I will give Mister Chavis credit for the 01/09/12 BCSCG. JC's defense held Saban lead Alabama to field goals only throughout the night. (barring the late TD which was empty) The BCSNC loss 2012 was not the result of any John Chavis error in strategy.
I don't usually engage in this foolishness (choosing to engage in other foolishness) over schedules, but it seems that you consider the oklahoma game as evidence of a tougher path for ND. Is this your contention? per fbschhedules.com FINAL STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE RANKINGS NCAA (vs. FBS & FCS) Florida Missouri Texas A&M Auburn Kentucky Arkansas Ga. Southern Notre Dame LSU Kansas This NCAA ranking is based solely on the winning percentage of past opponents. Florida’s opponents (109 wins, 44 losses) had 11 more wins than 2nd place Missouri (98-45) and 9 more wins than 3rd place Texas A&M (100-52). National Champion Alabama’s schedule was ranked 33rd. Their opponents had 94 wins and 67 losses. http://www.fbschedules.com/2013/01/final-2012-college-football-strength-of-schedule-rankings/
I'm liking where we are. I know the bowl loss knocked us down a bit, plus with a lot of seniors exiting. But I like LSU having to fight to get to the top of the rankings. I like watching LSU battle to get to the top 5 and I like the new OC and believe it will do wonders for our offense. As long as we don't try to burn clock with pass plays and take forever to get plays in at the end of games and minimize the 3 & outs that gasses our D in the 4th.
So, you're saying that LSU is scared of scheduling teams? And then mention that OU is, in fact, on a future schedule? Alabama had a home and home with OU less than 10 years ago (when OU was probably better than they are now.)
NO I simply notice that no one from the SEC ever schedules OU especially in Norman Oklahoma. For ND (supposedly during a down period) to face OU in Norman OK and win 30-10? What does Notre Dame have to do?
