Did Tech turn me down??? I never EVER considered applying there. I just think the only reason that a "huge" Tech crowd will be there is because they want to experience what its like to have a big-time program. I find the fan support that Tech has pathetic! Most of the students don't even care about the football games and when was the last time Tech sold out a game? Ever???
TECH's home attendance is definitely lacking, no argument here. However, our road warriors always show up in force. The crowd you will see in Tiger Stadium is the same size crowd we took to road games at Tulane, Rice, SMU, Auburn, Tulsa, etc. TECH only has 11,000 students and around 6,000 or more show up for every home football game. That.s strong support. There will be some TECH grads and students there pulling for the Tigers, I'm sure. But 98% of them will be Dawg fans first and foresmost. If you think otherwise, you are mistaken, which I'm sure is not a new phenomenon. Just to let you know, the president of the LSU Memphis alumni group graciously accepted my offer to join with our TECH group and watch the game together at the Fox and Hound. I'm glad he doesn't have a piss-poor attitude like DD.
Well Clyde, good luck with Nevada this weekend, I'm sure you'll need it. Should we expect the usual 4 turnovers from McCown and great defensive efforts we have come accustomed to from Tech? Wow, a 1-3 record in the WAC is something to be extremely proud of. Congrats to the Bulldogs.
I would predict 4 touchdowns, not interceptions. It's easy to talk smack when you're "supposed" to win. That's why they play the game.

My ex goes to Tech to. I might concur, but I'm not going to blame someone else for my mistakes, which were purely the reason for why our relationship ended. Tech's a cool place, a lot of my friends go there. I might have gone there myself, but I had no interest in being an engineer. My ex and I are still friends. We have a friendly wager on this game.
