Oh, I do when stopped in traffic. If the A/C is running it pulls in outside air from the cowl vents and if the guy in front is smoking with his window open I can smell it.

It's worse when some jerk smokes in a hotel room that is supposed to be non-smoking. The room reeks for months after that.

I don't really object to smoking bars as long as they are labeled as such. They won't see my business.

I object to smoking in outdoor public places where non-smokers don't really have a way to get away from it, like Tiger Stadium, crowded parks, and such.

switch your unit to "Max A/C".
it is more efficient, colder, and draws air from inside your vehicle.

    but seriously.
you and vball are the only 2 people I have ever heard claim this.

    this I agree with completely.
one of the worst smells on the plant is stale cigarette smoke.
IMO it is 100 times worse than one that is still lit.

freedom of choice for all involved.

public places owned/operated by the government can and should be regulated by the government.

but If I own a chunk of land, open a park on it, maintain it myself, and foot the financial bill myself, it should be up to me whether or not smoking is allowed.

I prefer fresh air in the vehicle and it's quieter. But I do switch to inside air when any smoke or the mosquito spray truck is around.

    myself.
I like to ride with my window down when the weather cooperates.
and yet I still have never smelled smoke from another vehicle, nor have I ever heard anyone else claim to do so until this thread.

you know how phucking funny that is?

they cant stand the smell of smoke coming from someone in another car over the carbon monoxide from 1000's of exhausts at the same time.

    thats freaking awesome.

I didn't say that I can't stand it, only that I can smell it. Some people have a poor sense of smell, I guess. And in my commute stopped traffic is about a dozen cars max, no more than 4 of which are as close as the smoker.

smoking is absolutely f'ing retarded and should be banned in general, not just at restaurants. if you smoke, you made an incredibly idiotic life choice. good job.
