To me that list indicates that LSU can be a force in basketball. That list is not complete. There were several others that had good careers at Georgetown and Syracuse.
LSU, with Butch and Brady, is doing a good job of bringing the best in the state to Baton Rouge. That is the main reason that I am neutral on the Brady situation. Since Brady arrived at LSU, most of the other members of the conference have changed coaches. Some like Tennesse and Georgia have made a couple of changes and are still no better than LSU. Great coaches aren't lining up to jump at SEC basketball coaching jobs.

You are supposed to put a smiley face when you are joking.
Yeah Dunbar was the first 6'9" point guard in the NCAA. If the NBA rules had allowed him to stiff arm the defenders a-la Magic Johnson he probably would have had a tremendous NBA career. Instead he played for the Harlem Globe Trotters for about twenty years.

    Can you not read??????????????????

"Can you imagine if we had him in our starting line-up. Zeno is a 6'5" 190lb. lefty who can flat out play. Brady should be fired for not landing him last year!!"

That above is commending him. I said Zeno is a 6'5" 190lb. lefty who can flat out play. Those were my exact words.

Tell me again, that is not praising and commending????

You are reaching big time. You are trying hard to cover your tracks though. You get an A+ for effort but a D- for results.

    C'mon LSUGradin99, cut him some slack. It's a mismatch.

You still not justifying that I didn't commend him, when I in fact did. Reaching big time????

I said Zeno is a 6'5" 190lb. lefty who can flat out play. READ it again!!!!

If that's not commending in your book, you might need to check again.

And I'll give you credit for one thing. I am bashing Brady. He is garbage and we all know it. No more excuses. No more scholarship sanctions. No more corn rows to throw off the team. How much more will Skip Bertman and company put up with. Poof be gone!

That's the best you can do LSUGradin99????? Come on.

You must have played high school ball at Crowley High back when Brady was the coach there!!!

No. Now inspired by SabanFan's post, I am now slacking off and matching your level.

Really though I just did not like using the kid to bash Brady. Bash Brady and whoever you'd like all you want but just get to the point and don't use someone else as a means to do it. At one point, you were debating with me that you had started this thread to praise Zeno. That was clearly not the case lol. At least you finally just got to the point a couple of posts ago. Good for you. You've learned. :thumb:

Ok, I'll defend Brady on this one recruit. Zeno was not a big time recruit and was not high on most schools' radar. This is probably example of Knight finding a diamond in the rough versus poor recruiting by Brady.

Zeno's choices were: Texas Tech, Tulane, ULL, McNeese St. and Eastern Kentucky.

It's sort of like the LeFlors kid getting away from LSU and Saban...
