Does anyone else notice that most drivers in Baton Rouge are completely numbed and perplexed by the enigma that is the FOUR WAY STOP!?! My God it aggravates the hell out of me when I roll up to a four way a good 2 to 3 seconds AFTER a car to the right of me...and then they sit there having no idea they have the right of way. Then they creep/stop/creep/stop along completely clueless looking at me while I am at a dead stop. JUST GO!! And I love the ones that get to the stop sign after me on a fast roll and try to hijack MY turn to go.
Anyone ever drive between Mandeville and Baton Rouge? Anyone ever made it through without a wreck? Anyone have suicidal thoughts there?
I pass through almost every weekend and I feel your pain especially during rush hour(s). I have had an accident and passed slowly past others as everyone slows down to see another dam accident.:dis:
On my way to work Monday there was a car in the ditch on I-310. There was about 10 cars total on the interstate and I still had to come to a complete STOP because of idiots rubbernecking. :cuss:
I drive from mandeville to cecilia every work day. Usually in the mornings from between 8am-12. I actually have made it without a wreck! woo hoo! I haven't seen one in awhile, actually. I usually hit bad traffic near denham springs, but haven't seen any in awhile. The last wreck i saw was a few weeks ago. pretty spectacular one. there were cars everywhere!!! an 18 wheeler carrying new cars was on it's side with another car on the side of it on one side of the interstate. there was 1 car in the median and 2 more cars on the other side of the interstate.
Isn't it just easier to shoot them? I mean, you gotta clear the lane somehow, and it beats rushing home to vent about it here. Probably would help traffic nationwide if we all just started blasting. Um, I'm really just kidding guys(sort of)... :rofl::rofl:
People should always drive at the fastest possible speed at which they can still maintain control of their vehicle.
If I don't have my kids in the car and they do that shiiit, I pass them on the emergency lane. And they get pissed... Farq'em
