Quite frankly I was concerned that Miles may not have been able to hire someone from a major program because of his job being up in the air for next year. In other words would a major league coach want to come to a school that could have a coaching change next year, which could put the new DC in the unemployment line.
He was working with B10 talent against B10 talent. Pretty pleased, feels like a move in the right direction (wonder why this hire didn't happen last year). Guess Miles ain't going nowhere, wonder if any other changes are coming.
he'll also be matching up against much better talent as well. so its liekly a wash there. sounds like a smart guy. now we need one for the offense. or two or three.
